Zercher Squats 25 Sets of 5

Not a typo. Here’s how it should go. Say Art and Herb decided to partner up for this workout. They can both Zercher Squat say 275 for a single. So their 5 rep max is in the BALLPARK of 220. It would go like this: 75lbs, they each do 5 reps, they add another 15lb plate to each side, then squat that 5 times, then TAKE OFF THE LITTLE PLATES and put on 45’s to make 135, they each take a turn squatting that 5 times, then they add one of the 15’s that they removed for a total of 165, squat that 5 times, then they load the other one on for a total of 195 and squat that 5 times each. That’s “1”, they do that 4 more times. Please notice that 195 is considerably lower than their projected max of 220. They accumulated effect will be fairly interesting, but no one set should be brutal, and yes you should try and screw your buddy a bit by not resting and being fast with loading weights.

Once completed do move directly into a 2k Row split at the 1000m mark for a team time.
