Workout for Saturday February 27th:
1 Minute of Pull-ups/Toes to Bars/Knee to Elbows or any variety
1 Minute of Push Presses at 75/55
1 Minute of Hang Power Cleans 75/55
1 Minute of Rowing
1 Minute of Rest
3 Rounds for Reps.
This is the decommissioning workout for our first pull-up structure. If you’d like to post comments about memories of that bar please do. That sort of nostalgia really makes me happy. If you want to come help take it apart, please come at 2:00pm and do this workout, and then help us pull her down. Thanks!!
I remember my first class, three years ago, was max strict pull ups. We were in the middle bars of this thing. I thought Rich Than was superman because he got 19 reps, everyone cheered. I got 3 reps, everyone cheered.
Not a big milestone like some, but those pull-up bars were the first bars I ever held onto with the express purpose of learning how to do a pull-up… First jumping pull-up, L-Hang, and banded pull-up, and not to mention the most comfortably warm place to stretch out in direct path of the heater on those chilly 5am classes! <3
