The usual suspects:
The workout:
Row for Calories and the Prowler (to the shed and back)
Since there was two of them and their work capacities are matched well across broad time and modal domains, I pitted them against each other. Which elicited peak performances!
7 Rounds
Row for as long as it takes the other person to go to the shed and back with the prowler, for max calories. Rest 1 minute, switch positions.
Repeat 14 times so each person gets a total seven row sprints.
The Score:
Charles Mel
16 18
16 14
16 14
16 17
16 15
15 15
17 14
Total:
112 107
Awesome workout!! Great intensity and camaraderie!
The bottom line here is that I moved the prowler a little faster cutting into her time on the rower, Mel’s calories per hr. rate was much higher and she basically just kicked my ass.
Great workout!
so mad i wasnt there, had planned on it, it turns out that i’m getting old so when i stay up tell 3am i cant get up in the morning..i suck
Nice job guys! Soooo sorry I missed it 😉
bad asses… the lot of you!
OK, so I just purchased “Every Second Counts” (and no, not the rodeo movie with Clint Black or whatever that is). So, when I get it, we need to set up a screening at the gym, probably after the 6:30 class some night or a Sat. afternoon? We’ll see what works for everyone, but it’ll probably be a couple of weeks before it gets here. Let me know!
Thanks guys! That was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see whats in store for next Sunday! 🙂
