Also(!) check out games.crossfit.com if you want to register for the CrossFit Open. It’s the online CrossFit contest consisting of 5 workouts over 5 weeks (starting February 26th) the winners of which qualify for the Regional Contest in May. I understand that the workouts will be released on Thursday nights. Regardless of whether or not you register (something like $20) we will be doing the workouts in the classes (scaled appropriately of course!!!) with the main event held on Friday nights for those that want to take the competition seriously. I can’t stress enough how you’re still a good person if you don’t register, we’re going to have FUN doing this as a group, and have FUN doing it on the Friday nights in February, with the judges, and the standards, and the repeats and Brent doing the Masters Qualifier workouts, and all that good stuff. This should be a season where the gym comes together tighter, instead of a season where the gym becomes stressed out over workouts and placings and any craziness that may ensue. Can’t wait 🙂 We also need some judges to pass the judges course, which could also be useful if you want to volunteer at regionals and help get our fittest athletes to the World Contest this summer!
