Hey guys, we don’t do too much of this sort of thing, but we’re doing it today. Of course we’ll scale the bejeezus out of this thing so we’re all getting fitter instead of jacked up.
Workout for Wednesday October 21st
The Tribute workout honors the Wise brothers—Jeremy, Ben and Beau. After September 11th, Jeremy Wise dropped out of medical school and joined the Navy becoming a SEAL. Ben Wise joined the Army and was a member of Green Berets. Beau Wise is an infantry Marine. Tragically, we lost Jeremy December 30, 2009 to a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. This tragedy was compounded just over two years later when Ben was killed in action in Afghanistan. Jeremy and Ben represent that generation of veterans who gave that “last full measure of devotion”. Beau Wise represents that generation of veterans who survived combat and who we now stand with to help them survive the peace. The Three Wise Men Foundation was founded by their cousin, Nathan Fletcher, and exists to raise awareness of the problems our veterans face and raise funds that provide needed transition programs to ensure our veterans have the services they need to succeed when their military service ends.
