In our quest for world domination through contemplation and reiteration we are expanding our digital footprint 🙂 Ed (the Deidra’s esteemed husband) is going to man the stations and create myspace and facebook pages for Lynnwood CrossFit. This has been a suggestion from a lot of people and so we’re listening to your input – thank you thank you thank you! personally I abhor myspace and their ilk, but for the sake of world domination one has to make concessions, it’s just the parlence of our times, ya know?
On another note that I’m quite excited about, a close friend of mine and I were musing about ways to get more members of high quality like the ones we’ve already got here and quick so we can get into the black, and the idea popped into my head about the Lynnwood CrossFit Family Tree. I was jacked, jumping around, my mind blown (this kinda crap happens when I take two whole days off in a row, my world changes, which is also why I rarely do it, my wife couldn’t take it, yeah she could…), all excited and determined to come in and really see why and through who has then gym grown by such gaussian proportions.
I’ve finished the v1.0 LCF Family Tree but it’s FAR from presentable (just imagine an excel spread sheet like 200 columns long with lines and borders ALL JACKED UP). So, when I get that figured out we’ll post it either only digitally or make an actual tapestry of sorts and update it whenever some joins (or regretably cancels) by writing it on the wall or in some other way, however I know this is CrossFit but I refuse to do any CrossStitching of any kind. Maybe I’ll delegate that to Luke or Abi…
An interesting note however about the LCF Family Tree is that there is definitely one unsung hero of the gym that I need to mention everyone loves her (and they should because she referred half of you guys here) Nicole Picknell – the bad ass firefighter, firebreather, cycling, cookng machine and pull-up fanatic. Far and away the most influencial member at the gym – without her it REALLY wouldn’t be the same around here. As a matter of fact, I’m going to post this beast somewhere physically in the gym so people can trace their lineage and have fun with it, kinda like paterfamilias kinda thing, maybe like "invite your line to dinner nights" and stuff like that – so cheesy! But it could be fun, piting Nicole’s Line versus Charles’ Line, now that could be a CrossFit Death Match if I ever heard of one!!!
