Whoa! I’m totally jacked right now. We just got accepted into the Crossfit organization as an affiliate. Totally awesome. Crossfit style training is the best way to actually train for “general fitness” they stress different loading parameters (sets, reps, tempo) as well as a literal abundance of exercises and sports (gymnastics, powerlifting, calisthenics etc.) to achieve a broad and applicable fitness.
In the next few months a few of our trainers will have the opportunity to attend some certification classes through Crossfit.  More feedback on those for sure. But for now expect a change-up in the membership and training model (fees and times) to accommodate this great advantage.
We’re the only Crossfit affiliate in Snohomish County!!! If you’ve heard about this phenomenal training style or are trying to do it a “regular” gym you’ve got to come try it here. We’ve got everything you need, not just the right tunes, the ropes, pull-up bars, med-balls, kettlebells, sleds, geez louise.
We’ve got a new section on the website: Daily Workouts: Crossfit. Go to that to view the Workout of the Day (WOD) from Crossfit.com and we’ll also be posting our own Local WOD along with posts about points or feedback – it’ll be great:)
