That’s the theme for the New Year’s Eve WOD…

Ok ok ok, we’re not gonna get gloves on (Scambia) and get after each other for time, which might be a lot of fun depending on who you get to whoop on (Ed) but, what we are going to do is currently tucked away in my scary little mind 🙂 There will be some very important action items laid out before or after the workout which will shape events to come in 2011, be excited about that! I’m excited to see everyone all glassy-eyed for quite possibly the most constantly varied moment ever at Lynnwood CrossFit!! So excited 🙂

20 WOD Challenge Almost Complete!

Way to be everyone!! Overtraining starting feel good yet??? Eh?? This is purposeful. Short periods where the volume is kept relatively high are important to develop the athlete in the multi-year scheme of training. However living this way is bad!

Holiday Schedule:

Starting Monday the 20th,
For the 20th, 21st, and 22nd:
Class Times: 6:30am, 11:00am, 5:30pm, 7:00pm

Thursday the 23rd: Closed
Friday the 24th: Closed
Saturday the 25th: Closed
Sunday the 26th: Closed

For the 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th:
Class Times: 6:30am, 11:00am, 5:30pm, 7:00pm

Friday the 31st (New Year’s Eve!):
Class Times: 6:30am, 11:00am – Closed at Noon.
Midnight WOD – Please please please RSVP to comments!

Sunday the 2nd: First WOD of 2011. Special workout to be announced! Class 9am and 10am!
Monday the 3rd: Everything back to normal 🙂 YAY!!

CrossFit and “Old People” sheesh. If you’re elderly, do you need to stand up well? Do you need to reach over head for stuff? Do you need to pick things up? I say YES! Hence I say CrossFit. No to teeny tiny dumbbells and spurious movements, yes to fighting tooth and nail to get mobility and utility back into your body! And yes, for clarity, “Jazzercise” is dead to me 🙂
