New Floor!!

Look at that old weightlifting area, two stations?!?!
Who were we kidding? On a whole, we’re way too awesome for two weightlifting stations. So, we upped the ante, got after it (thanks to Shane and Charles) and BAM no we’ve got six stations with enough room to lift and move around.

Awesome!
This will really help us when things like “CrossFit Total” or “Military Press/Push Press/Push Jerk” or “Back Squat 3-3-3-3-3” come up. Look forward to getting stong(er) and being pushed to heave more iron (rubber) than ever before.

Thursday Easter/Passover WOD
This is just too good.
There’s so much to work with! Rolling the stone, heavy wooden crosses, crowns of thorns, spitting in your face, feasting, lamb blood, soldiers, crowd control, crying mothers! All these thematic elements just glare at me, daring me to make a workout.
Then, there’s all the other easter stuff (admittedly a little easier to get on board with) like peeps, bunnies, cadbury cream eggs (favorite), fake green grass, baskets (which are kettlebell shaped), searching for eggs, money, candy and copious gaudy colored hard boiled eggs. These are so much nicer, friendlier.

Yo, so boot camp is crazy. Did the fit test last tuesday with helicopters dive bombing over the track during parts of it. Its nuts. I passed though.
They have kettle bells and tractor tires here. Makes me so happy! I’m going to teach the group what burpees are next week :).
After the fit test we did several rounds of knuckle pushups, holding ourselves in the down position for soooo long. Even did a set on the pavement which resulted in bloody knuckles. Its crazy but I’m surviving! Just wanted to send you an update! Thx for helping me get here!

Bloody knuckle push-ups, KB’s and tires! When she first came in to start CrossFit (pre-pull-ups) her shoulder was so jacked that push-ups really hurt, hmmm, not a problem now!
Awesome.
Also, who knew 65# could weigh so much!!
