Rainier's Strongest Woman!!

If you missed it, you missed out!

Kelsey WON 🙂

Awesome contest put on by the World Renowned Rainier Crew, thanks Kurtis and Laurie!! I’m not sure how much money was raised for Fraxa, but more woulda been cooler 🙂

Saturday and Sunday

Make-Up Weekend!

Please be nice to Abi, we feed her only enough to support lean mass and nothing more, except her tan 🙂 Running multiple workouts at once is hard for coach, especially if you’re monopolizing the coaches time, energy and effort!!

Signing Up for the Reaver Crew just keeps getting better and better. Email me if you’d like to volunteer for the gear moving team (Reaver Crew) at the Cretus Ex Duellum CrossFit Contest in January.

Otherwise, Nutrition Workshop Saturday night 6:30pm, be there or be “square”.

Veterans Day

To all the Heros; Men and Women who’ve served us by defending our Country, thank you. It may never be enough. We will honor The Fallen by doing Hero WODs tomorrow. The gym will have an agenda, but if you feel motivated towards one Hero WOD in particular feel free to let us know and we’ll help you go through it.

Our very own Sara, GETTING IT DONE!!!

She scores our contests and writes our nutrition blog is basically awesome, and typically up to “not much” 🙂

Just another success story, Lynnwood CrossFit style!

Double Unders

Check this out.

“Perform traditional jumprope actions without the hindrance of a rope” – from the manufacturer

Do you think this would help? Alls I’m saying, is that the literal jumping over the rope is so frustrating that someone took the time to invent how to “jump rope” without actually having to jump the dang rope!! What the heck?

This just blew me away. Instead how about something along these lines:

I think the skills: accuracy, agility, balance and coordination, no to mention speed or power (cardiorespiratory endurance) are severely tested and highlighted in their insufficiency whilst trying to perform the dreaded double under. If you haven’t noticed our selection of ropes leave something(s) to be desired. So, if you want to be decent at double-unders (forget mastery) take it upon yourself to get your own jump rope and practice practice practice. You have options, get ahold of Ed Anderson in the club and get him to make you a jump rope ($20) or go online and find one you like!

3,2,1… GO!
